Plant Operator Check sheets
Daily checks are an important part of safe plant operation, but a generic checklist should not replace the manufacturer’s instructions or the inspection requirements for a particular machine. Operators should report defects promptly and take safety-critical equipment out of service where necessary.

This qualification will develop knowledge and skills in areas such as preparing and operating plant to lift and transfer loads in the workplace

The qualification will develop knowledge and skills in areas such as slinging and signalling the movement of loads, and guiding and moving loads or machinery. Learners can specialise in various specialist plant machines including forklift trucks, excavators, scissor platforms, and cranes.
