Experienced drivers – 1 Day

Route: Theory and practical assessment

This is a test-only route, so candidates should already know how to carry out the job.

Candidates who cannot yet demonstrate the required competence should complete the novice course.

The course gives candidates practical instruction in loading machinery, positioning plant correctly and applying suitable load restraints before completing the assessment.

Refresher training

Refresher training is also available for previously trained employees who need to update or reinforce their knowledge of plant loading and load securing.

Plant Mover certificate required before the course

Every candidate attending Plant Loader Securer training must already hold a valid Plant Mover operator certificate as proof of training.

This is an important prerequisite and should be checked before booking your drivers onto the course.

Plant Loader Securer training teaches the additional skills needed to safely load and secure machinery for transport. It does not provide the underlying training required to move the plant itself.
