Assess Different Plant Categories During One Visit
Not every employee needs the same assessment. One may operate an excavator, while others use telehandlers, dumpers or rollers.
We can discuss combining eligible tests where suitable machinery, practical areas and instructor coverage are available. The lowest daily category limit applies to the entire booking.
If an excavator test is included, the maximum is four assessments in total. An employee taking two categories uses two test places.

Four tests altogether. We confirm the equipment, assessment areas and schedule before booking.
A roller-only experienced test day can accommodate up to six assessments. Adding an excavator test changes the maximum for the combined day to four.

Which Booking Gives You Better Value?
When several experienced employees need assessments and you have suitable machinery and facilities, sharing an on-site visit for the excavator training or test is usually the cheapest overall route.
It can reduce separate journeys and give your team one agreed assessment schedule. We still need operators released from normal duties for their machine tests.
For one or two candidates, a Tewkesbury centre booking may be more economical. Send us the complete requirement so we can help compare the options and provide the appropriate quotation.
What We Need at Your Evesham Workplace
The assessment area must allow candidates to complete the full practical tasks safely. For excavator testing, that includes travelling, excavation, loading, reinstatement and attachment changing.
A company yard, farm or other workplace may be considered, but its suitability depends on the facilities—not simply the amount of land available. We need serviceable machinery, the operator manual, relevant records and safe separation from other activities.

Travelling from Evesham to Our Tewkesbury Centre
Our centre is at Newton Farm Business Park, Ashchurch, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, GL20 7BE. The main 360 excavator training page explains individual course and test options.
By car: Follow the A46 from Evesham towards Ashchurch and Tewkesbury. Our centre is in Ashchurch, close to M5 Junction 9. Check your route and allow time for traffic before your agreed arrival.
By train: Plan your journey from Evesham station to Ashchurch for Tewkesbury, checking the connections and arrival time before booking. The centre is approximately five minutes’ walk from Ashchurch station.

Not necessarily. If you already have the knowledge and practical skills for the complete assessment, an Experienced Worker Test may be suitable. Passing the operator test alone does not automatically provide a Blue Competent Operator Card. The relevant NVQ and other applicable registration requirements must also be met. Our NPORS cards guide explains the routes so you can check what your employer or client requires.
