What is plant operator training?

Do I need experience for NPORS training?
No. You do not need previous plant operating experience to start NPORS novice training. Complete beginners can take a novice course, while experienced operators may be suitable for an Experienced Worker Test.
Can NPORS training be done on-site?
Yes. NPORS plant training and testing can be delivered on a suitable customer site using appropriate machinery and facilities. Vally Plant Training provides on-site training for businesses throughout the UK as well as training at our Tewkesbury centre.
What is an NPORS Experienced Worker Test?
An NPORS Experienced Worker Test is an assessment route for operators who already have sufficient practical experience and competence. It allows experienced operators to demonstrate their knowledge and operating ability without completing a full novice course.
